Promoting Development Together｜Second Cohort of The Advanced Training Programme for Mining Professionals From Central South University And Sinoma Materials Visits Uniroc for Seminar And Excha

On 29 November, a delegation of over 40 participants from the second session of the Sino-Central University Advanced Training Programme for Mining Materials visited Uniroc for discussions and exchanges. Mr Shao Gaojian, Deputy General Manager of Uniroc, accompanied and hosted the delegation throughout their visit.

In the corporate exhibition hall, Uniroc comprehensively showcased its journey from the technological explorations of its founding years to its current deepened presence in the tunnel and mining equipment sectors. Concurrently, it highlighted a series of major innovative achievements attained by the company across key domains in recent years, including multiple nationally patented technologies and their successful application in significant engineering projects.

Subsequently, the delegation proceeded to the production workshop and finished product commissioning centre of Uniroc for an inspection tour. Within the workshop, the pulsed production line facilitated flexible batch manufacturing, with automated guided vehicles (AGVs) efficiently handling material flow and a digital management platform providing real-time tracking of production data. During the visit, participants gained detailed insights into the innovative measures and technical highlights of the mining wet spray machine, particularly its contributions to enhancing production efficiency and mitigating safety risks.

At the commencement of the seminar, Mr Shao Gaojian, Deputy General Manager of Uniroc, extended a warm welcome to all attendees on behalf of the company. Subsequently, Mr Ma Guorong, former Deputy Secretary of the School of Resources and Safety Engineering at Central South University, and Mr Ma Xiaoping, representative of the leadership of the Sinoma Mining Advanced Training Programme, delivered addresses. Both experts spoke highly of the company's intelligent equipment suite for small and medium-sized cross-sections, noting that its innovative technology precisely addresses key challenges in non-coal mining sectors and holds broad market prospects. Participants expressed hope that this exchange would serve as an opportunity to deepen collaborative innovation among industry, academia, research, and application. Through technology sharing and the convergence of expertise, they aim to jointly establish new paradigms for mine safety production management.

Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the intelligent achievements of Uniroc in small-section mechanised construction. Uniroc highlighted the core technological advantages and application outcomes of its intelligent small-section tunnelling drill rigs, mining anchor rod rigs, and rock drills. Addressing industry pain points and technical challenges raised by the training programme participants, Uniroc proposed multiple innovative solutions leveraging its technological strengths, thereby opening new avenues and directions for future collaboration.

     This visit enabled workshop participants to gain a thorough understanding of Uniroc's substantial technical expertise and innovative capabilities within the intelligent mining equipment sector, establishing a robust bridge for deep integration between industry, academia, research, and application. Moving forward, Uniroc remains committed to advancing research and innovation, driving the adoption of intelligent mining and excavation technologies to achieve faster, more economical, and safer tunnel development!
