On August 7, Professor Li Peijie from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tsinghua University led the “Wanlei Xiangtian” research team to visit Uniroc to conduct a political education practice activity themed “New Quality Productivity Leading the Development of Traditional Mechanical Industry.” Wang Xincheng, Executive Director of Uniroc Investment, Gong Jun, General Manager of Uniroc, and Cui Lianping, Deputy General Manager of Uniroc, accompanied and hosted the team throughout the visit.

In the company's cultural exhibition hall, Uniroc highlighted its breakthrough achievements in the field of tunnel and mining machinery. Among them, Uniroc's independently developed and manufactured rock drills and their core components have overcome industry bottlenecks with their technical prowess, attracting keen interest from the Tsinghua team.

Subsequently, the Tsinghua team visited the production workshop and finished product testing center. Within the workshop, Uniroc has undergone a digital and intelligent transformation, establishing a pulsating production line that enables dynamic monitoring of production status and data-driven optimization. The deep integration of intelligent technology with mechanical manufacturing demonstrates the path toward upgrading traditional machinery toward high-end and green technologies, providing students with a vivid example of the integration of industry, academia, and research.

At the exchange meeting, Wang Xincheng extended a warm welcome to the visiting team from Tsinghua University's Department of Mechanical Engineering, known as the “Wanlei Xiangtian” research team, and expressed his hope that both sides could spark inspiration through intellectual exchange. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions around the theme, with Tsinghua students drawing on their professional knowledge to pose questions on topics such as corporate development models, future industrial layout planning, and talent cultivation mechanisms.
