Recently, a delegation led by Tan Jiannong, President of the Hunan Mining Association; Lu Junji, General Manager of Hongda Blasting Engineering Group Co., Ltd.; and Chen Lihong, Chairman of Hunan Sanhe Aviation Service Co., Ltd., visited UNIROC for a tour and discussions. The delegation was received by UNIROC Vice Presidents Yu Songping and Shao Gaojian, together with other company representatives.
The delegation first toured UNIROC's production base at the Changsha Industrial Park, where they gained firsthand insight into the R&D, manufacturing processes and core production technologies behind the company's underground mining equipment. Particular attention was given to UNIROC's independently developed hydraulic rock drills and related mining equipment. Company representatives provided a detailed introduction to the products' performance, technical features and applications in mining operations, highlighting UNIROC's technological expertise and innovation across core component development, complete-equipment manufacturing and mining equipment.
The delegation then visited the company showroom, where UNIROC Vice President Shao Gaojian presented an overview of the company's development, business portfolio, technological innovation and market expansion. The visitors gained a deeper understanding of UNIROC's development in construction equipment and its continued expansion into underground mining equipment in recent years. They spoke highly of the company's achievements in technological innovation, product development and engineering applications.
During the meeting, UNIROC Vice President Yu Songping welcomed the delegation. She noted that, building on its technological strengths and engineering experience in tunnel construction, UNIROC is adapting proven technologies to real-world mining conditions and accelerating their application in underground mines. The company continues to enhance its integrated portfolio of intelligent equipment for small-section mine development, providing strong support for the mechanization and intelligent upgrading of mining operations.
Drawing on experience from mining projects, Lu Junji, General Manager of Hongda Blasting Engineering Group, said that complex underground conditions, intensive operations and long equipment duty cycles place greater demands on the safety, durability, reliability and intelligence of mining equipment. He added that equipment development should be more closely aligned with on-site needs. In addition to ensuring stable long-term operation, greater mechanization and intelligence can reduce risks to personnel, improve construction efficiency and better support the development of modern mines.
Tan Jiannong, President of the Hunan Mining Association, and Chen Lihong, Chairman of Hunan Sanhe Aviation, also exchanged views on industry trends, including the development of green and intelligent mines and the upgrading of mining equipment. The participants reached a broad consensus on these topics.
The visit deepened mutual understanding of mining operation requirements and the future direction of equipment development. Going forward, the parties will maintain close communication and coordination, promote deeper integration between engineering practice and equipment innovation, and advance the deployment of advanced equipment and intelligent technologies in mining applications.
