A delegation comprising representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, the State Enterprise Design and Survey Institute Kyrgyzdortransproekt, the ministry's road administration, and the civil engineering subsidiary of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. recently visited UNIROC. The delegation was received by UNIROC Executive Director Yang Zhenshi, Deputy General Managers Yu Songping and Xie Liang, and other company representatives.
During the visit, the delegation toured UNIROC's Changsha Industrial Park and Group headquarters. The guests gained a comprehensive understanding of the company's development, business portfolio, and technological innovation, as well as the application of its equipment in major infrastructure projects worldwide.
At the Changsha Industrial Park, the delegation visited the production facilities to learn about the manufacturing processes, core technologies, and quality control systems for tunnel and underground mining equipment. Drawing on product features and real-world engineering scenarios, Executive Director Yang Zhenshi presented UNIROC's technical expertise, innovations, and project experience in tunnel construction and underground mining equipment.
The delegation then visited the Group showroom, where they learned about UNIROC's development over more than two decades and its diversified business portfolio spanning bridges, tunnels, underground mining, energy infrastructure, ports and terminals, and industrial construction. The delegates spoke highly of the company's sustained commitment to technological innovation, intelligent manufacturing, and industrial advancement.
At the meeting, Yang Zhenshi welcomed the delegation and outlined UNIROC's global development. He noted that internationalization means more than bringing products to overseas markets; it requires the systematic advancement of R&D, manufacturing, delivery, service, and brand capabilities. Today, UNIROC's products and services reach more than 20 countries and regions and have been deployed in over 7,000 major projects. The company will continue to strengthen its international presence, cross-regional delivery, and localized service capabilities, providing global customers with more mature and efficient integrated solutions.
Nursultan Matisakov, General Director of State Enterprise Kyrgyzavtozhol-South under the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, introduced the country's transport infrastructure development and road operations and thanked UNIROC for its warm reception. He explained that as new road projects enter operation, Kyrgyzstan is placing greater emphasis on the long-term safety and protection of mountainous roads. China's extensive experience in transport infrastructure and construction equipment innovation, together with UNIROC's technologies and project expertise, offered valuable insights for the delegation. He expressed the hope that the visit would lead to deeper industry dialogue and technical exchange, opening new avenues for improving transport infrastructure construction, operation, and maintenance.
Kyrgyzstan is an important participant in the Belt and Road Initiative. In recent years, China and Kyrgyzstan have continued to deepen cooperation in transport infrastructure, trade, and regional connectivity, helping improve transport links and support economic and social development across the region.
The visit strengthened the Kyrgyz transport delegation's understanding of and confidence in UNIROC, laying a solid foundation for deeper cooperation in road construction and maintenance.
